Jonathan E. Halperin is a prominent Virginia-based civil rights and personal injury trial attorney with extensive experience in state and federal courts. Mr. Halperin has been in practice for over three decades and is the founder of the Halperin Law Center, LLC, which focuses on representing victims of negligence and civil rights violations. He has achieved significant recognition, including being consistently selected as a Virginia Super Lawyer (earning spots on the “Top 100 Attorneys in Virginia” and “Top 50 Attorneys in Richmond” lists) and selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America multiple times since 2015. Beyond his trial work, Mr. Halperin maintains a strong commitment to the legal profession: he is the former Chairman of the Civil Rights Section of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), serves on the Board of Governors for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), and has taught Federal Practice and Procedure as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law.
